Part of my set of knives “The Woods” this knife is inspired by the curve of a tree, and is designed for general use in the kitchen.

Blade Length: 6 3/4”

Overall Length: 12 1/4”

Blade Steel: 52100 carbon steel

Handle Material: Upcycled Wenge with brass pins

I spent a month living at my Aunt’s house, and designed these knives inspired by the trees growing there.  I would go out on a walk with the intention of just noticing what I saw around me. I kept admiring the shapes the trees made, and how they all interacted with each-other in a way that felt both complex and simple. I designed a set of knives, and wanted it to have a similar feeling where things aren’t uniform but still work together.
